Paul Hansen was a lifelong resident of Sag Harbor who died at the hands of a drunk driver when he was 53. He loved the outdoors and was engaged in lots of activities like surfing, kite surfing, snow boarding, spear fishing, sailing, etc. Paul took his two sons everywhere with him to do these things. He was well known and popular in the Sag Harbor community. This location is a place where Paul spent a lot of time boating and kite surfing. It provides a view of Noyac Bay that most people who visit the area will never see. ;
If you drive down Pine Neck Ave to the very end, you will reach what is called Circle Beach. Usually there is plenty of parking, but summer days can be crowded. It's Southampton Town Beach permit parking, but if you aren't there long, it will generally be OK. You'll get to walk about half a mile or more on easy sandy and pebble beach to see just how beautiful Noyac Bay can be. Going at sunrise or sunset is an added treat!
