Come and enjoy this newest extension to the Pufferbelly Trail. You should encounter walkers, bikers & a variety of birds. The path is a wide & asphalted trail. The cache is just off of the trail.
This is the 8th cache in our Rail Splitter Series. If you start here & walk south, it is about a mile & a half to our cache, The Rock Island Line. You will need to cross Carroll Road, but they have installed a flashing stop light for safety.
There is a shelter at this trail head with a bike rack, table & 2 benches.
