Telford Gardens with the Telford Plaza shopping center in Kowloon Bay was a popular place to live for airline and airport personnel back in the days when the Hong Kong airport was located nearby. Even the adjacent industrial area had much to do with the airport being close by. But after opening of the new airport on Lantau Island, things changed.
Even though Telford Plaza may just be another shopping center on top of an MTR station nowadays, the podium garden and open space open to the public offers a nice break from the crowds of Hong Kong streets. Grab a cup of coffee or sandwich and enjoy the open space while you are there.

- The airport operations were moved to the new airport in the M month on D day of year 1998.
- Warning: the GZ of the cache is not in the middle of the road even though some maps may show that. Go by the Google satellite map or the HK SAR Government Lands Dept map and stay on the sidewalk for your own safety!!!
