Het natuurpad is een mooie wandelroute door een stukje van de gemeente Hardinxveld-Giessendam. Hier bestaat de mogelijkheid om door te lopen richting Giessenburg. De completewandeling duurt ruim 5 kilometer als er over de parallelweg wordt terug gelopen. Het is ook mogelijk de cache te pakken en dan weer terug te lopen, dan is het veel korter. Onderweg loopt u langs het riviertje de giessen aan de ene kant en de spoorlijn de andere kant.
Op dit pad zijn voor de vogelliefhebber verschillende soorten te zien, denk hierbij aan de ijsvogel, verschillende ganzen soorten etc.

The trail called "natuurpad" is a beautiful trail through a part of Hardinxveld-Giessendam. Here it is possible to walk through direction Giessenburg. The walk lasts about five kilometers if you walk back down the "parallelweg" (this is the road alongside the traintracks). You can also grab the cache and walk the same way back, it is a short walk if you do it this way. Along the way you walk along the river Giessen on one side and the railway line to the other side.
