RWC - Down the Tube Traditional Cache

A quick cache and dash for visitors to Twickenham to watch the fine game of Rugby Union, or any one else who is just passing.  

In 2015 Twickenham will host 10 games from the Rugby World Cup (RWC) including the opening game and ceremony and final.

Down the Tube is where (sadly) England's World Cup ended after only 3 games with our defeat to Wales being followed a week later by another disappointing loss this time to a strong Australian side.

Sadly England now enter the record books for the wrong reasons, being the only time they have not qualified for the Quarter Finals, and the only time a host nation has not qualified for the Quarter Finals which take place this weekend.

It looks like there may be no northern hemisphere sides progressing to the Semi Finals, so could be a bad tournament for all of us.

Parking in local roads (except on event days). According to the Richmond Council Website, Parking Zone R is only applicable on event days. Check out http://www.richmond.gov.uk/home/services/parking/cpz/cpz_times.htm to be certain.
