Geocache Description:

This series has been put out there in the spirit of the Rugby World Cup of 2015 played in England.

ITALY

Ranked 14th for the Rugby World Cup 2015 and captained by Sergio Parisse, the Azurri (Sky Blues), has played 7 RWC tournaments. Fabio Ongaro is the player with the most yellow cards (3) in RWC history.

Although Italy has played in every RWC since 1987, they are yet to advance past the first round. Their very first international was against Spain in 1929, with their largest defeat being against South AFrica (101-0) in 1999.
