Hong Kong has a natural resource that's easily forgotten but since we see a lot of it: rock. Granite, to be specific. I guess since not as much of it is required, the east Kowloon quarry has become the site for a cluster of high rises, but some of its past has been preserved. And from the shopping center of the residential estate overlooking all of Kowloon Bay, the panoramic view is fantastic.
The Cache
- Stage 1 - the lookout. Drink in the view! Meanwhile look for the small sign on the wall that has one letter (there's more than one sign, but just look at the one closest to the stairs).
- Final stage -
- If the letter you see is M, then the coordinates are:
N 22° 19.829
E 114° 12.835
- If the letter you see is N, then the coordinates are:
N 22° 19.805
E 114° 12.861
- If the letter you see is O, then the coordinates are:
N 22° 19.860
E 114° 12.833
Note
- Please put it back exactly where you found it - with the side marked 'MAGNET SIDE' sticking to the ferrous material. Otherwise it does not stay very well.
- BYOP
- Beware of muggles
