HSJC - Los Rios Historic District Multi-Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Marko Ramius: I was reviewing caches in the area that appear to need maintenance or have been temporarily disabled for an extended period of time. I see that this one hasn't had a status update from the owner in the past few months. Obviously, we give extra time when a cache must be disabled for reasons beyond the owner's control, but it does help to have periodic updates.

Please post a note to the cache page to let us all know the status: Any plans to replace (now or in the future)? A report that the area is not yet ready for a cache placement? A simple note on the cache page just to let us know that you haven't forgotten about the cache?

Please respond on this cache page within the next 30 days. If we do not hear from you, we may conclude that the cache has been abandoned and the cache may be archived. Please be aware that caches that are archived due to a lack of communication or maintenance may not be unarchived.
Please note that we now place greater emphasis on "refreshing the gameboard" which means that our SoCal volunteer Reviewers will be more aggressively freeing up space for new caches to replace old ones that are not being properly maintained. In this vein, a response on the cache page from the cache owner is required to avoid archival.

Thank you for your understanding.

Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the above coordinates!!!
But, this is where you need to start!

The cache is located somewhere within the Los Rios Historic District.

Welcome to Historic San Juan Capistrano, or HSJC for short. This is part of a mini series of caches that are placed at historic areas in San Juan Capistrano.

At the above coordinates you'll find a plaque that talks about the history of the district. Here, is where you can find the coordinates to get the cache.

The cache can be found at: N 33° 30.ABC W 117° 39.DEF

A = The number of letter Fs on the plaque's name

B = The last digit in the earliest year that the most common structures on Los Rios Street are board and batten homes were built.

C = The second digit in the year that the Santa Fe depot was rehabilitated. (There are two answers, but they both are the same digit.) Then subtract 1.

D = The second digit in the year that the Santa Fe Depot was constructed in.

E = The second digit in the year that the Combs House was built.

F = The number of lines in the main last paragraph to the left of the Combs House photo. Then add 2.

Checksum for A through F = 39

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
