Geocache Description:

Another cache in my BBC (Bridge (or Boring) Barrier Cache) series.

UPDATE 10 JUL 2018: As part of the Treaty of Waitangi Settlement, iwi in Marlborough sought cultural redress to areas of special significance. Which is why Gibsons Creek is now called Ruakanakana Creek, which may have caused some confusion as you approach GZ. It was the place where weirs were dug to trap lamprey eels [kanakana] on their annual migration – hence Rua Kanakana or pit of the lampreys, according to treaty evidence. As I placed another BBC (GC7PQQM - Ruakanakana Creek Barrier Cache) on SH63 today, I thought I would leave this as Gibson Creek BBC to differentiate between the two. There is also another Ruakanakana (Gibson) Creek bridge which goes across the creek on SH6 at the other end of town, but it has proximity issues with another cache so on cannot be placed there.

If you have done any of my other BBC caches this won't be a problem. In fact it shouldn't be a problem if you haven't done any of them.

The container is a suitably camo'd mint tin held in place by an invisible force. Logbook only in a zip-lock bag so BYOP.

Your GPS will indicate which side and end of the bridge to look so once again no hint is supplied.

SAFETY WARNING This is a busy road so please be mindful of the children who are caching with you. This is the reason my BBC Series are micros and have no swag, swaps or trades and have a 'Not Suitable for Children' attribute.
