Dobbedalssteinen består av to svære flyttblokker som er plassert oppå hverandre av isen etter nedsmeltingen av iskappen etter siste istid for ca. 10000 år siden. Steinen er også brukt som grensemerke fra langt tilbake i tid. Den øverste steinen er også en ruggestein, men det anbefales å la steinen være i ro og ikke prøv å klatre på den, så kan denne formasjonen fortsette å imponere framtidige generasjoner. Dobbedalssteinen is built up of two large boulders on top of each other. They where placed here by the ice that melted away when the last ice age ended, 10000 years ago. The rock formation has also been an important border marker for many hundred years. The top rock is possible to move, but please leave the rock alone and do not climb is, so that it can continue to marvel new generations to come.
