Save the Bank Jack Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

Meet Jack and his friends named Jack. They may be tied up when you get there.

Take a colorful journey out and down to the corner of Stephen F. Austin State Park and discover these interesting pieces of engineering. After taking a selfie from the scenic overlook on Barred Owl trail keep heading west on the trail down towards the river bank to GZ and check out this engineering marvel compliments of The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. The ACoE burried these huge jacks all cabled together with hopes of preventing erosion that would affect both the state park and the golf course. They have been successful so far but through the years thay have become more exposed and thus closer to the hike and bike trail. BYOP

Entry to the park requires registration at headquarters and a daily use fee unless you are a Texas State Parks Pass holder.

A special trinket awaits the FTFr
