Oneroa is amazing......the jewel in the Waiheke crown.  Join the locals who walk the beach end to end at low tide and watch the boats swing on their anchors as they rest in Oneroa Bay.

The walk from Oneroa to Little Oneroa beach at low tide takes you through a maze of rock formations.  Kids will love the rock pools and hole in the rock.  Seabirds rest on many of the rock outcrops and we wondered what it would be like to be a bird.  The geocache is located on one of these outcrops which can be reached without getting wet at mid and low tides.

Be careful climbing the outcrop as there is a hard way and an easier way which includes a natural staircase (on the Llittle Oneroa side).  Not for the fainthearted but you will be rewarded with a wonderful seabird view of the bay.
