The cache is hidden near the trailhead and parking for Rachel and Rampart Lakes. Rachel Lake is about an 8 mile hike RT with 1600' elevation gain from the trailhead. Past Rachel Lake, the beautiful Rampart Lakes add another 2 1/2 miles RT and 600', but are well worth the extra effort and I highly recommend them. I was surprised by the number of mini waterfalls and stream crossings along the way. Enjoy!
