Geocache Description:

The JOE cache series was started by altosaxplayer, a member of the Tri-Cities Geocachers. The name JOE means "Just Off Exit".

This series was started as an Interstate 70 equivalent to the "Loop to Loop" and I-81 cache series that was started in Nashville TN by cgeek.

The JOE caches are placed no more than two tenths of a mile from the exit and the hint is a dead give away to the cache location. JOE caches are an easy way to pick up more cache finds while traveling.

This will be our Pennsylvania I 70 JOE series.

When planning our trips we always struggle with which caches really will be quick grabs and which may end as disasters and getting lost in an unfamiliar city or along a deserted highway.
This cache is meant as a quick grab for those traveling through the area and a nice fast smiley for those that already live here. Copied from VWDave's caches in VA and scrubjsm in Wv

......Now for the cache search.......

Locating this Joe will best be accessed from the West Bound Exit along the South Side of the Interstate but is an Easy On and Off from either direction for traveling cachers.

The small cache you seek is hidden for easy access. SWAG, Stash note, Logs inside. No writing utensil so BYOP!!

Stealth will depend on the day and time of your hunt. Parking is provided in a large lot with plenty of room for Big Rigs, Campers and Rv's.

*** Congratulations to ??? for the FTF !!! ***
