Gleeson Park playground is a small single unit playground suitable for neighbourhood children to enjoy. The equipment is most suited to younger children.

Gleeson Park Playground has the following equipment.

  • Multi-Combination Unit
  • Tunnel
  • Slide

Tree-planting is undertaken on many reserves to improve the aesthetic appeal, protect hillside slopes or provide shade and shelter to park users.  Gleeson Park in Faraday Street, where a joint planting project continues for the Council and children attending Napier Central School.
