The original ammo can lasted about 18 years. Longer than I would have expected. I search several times for it, and it does indeed seem to be gone. The area, and geocaching has changed a lot since I first placed this cache.
The new container is a lock-n-lock. It is in about the same spot hidden in a small rock pile. I've uploaded a spoiler picture and updated the hint as well. Access to the small trail is now from further up the Bonneville Shoreline Trail (BST). Start at the parking lot and got up the BST until you get to the Additional waypoint I've added as a trailhead marker at the point you need to leave the BST.
You can still see the Harmon's. flag (although it is harder to see with all the buildings) and for sure the Macey's flag from this location.

This is a "themed" cache and is associated with the Flag and Patriotic items
You can drive within about .12 of a mile of the cache then hike the rest of the way. From the Cache location take a minute and look over Orem and Provo. You can see the Harmon's Flag (800 East 800 N) and the Macey's flag (800 N State Street Orem) both in North Orem
I've filled this Ammo Can cache with tons of "Stars & Stripes" type items. Please trade for something that has a patriotic theme.
