St Nicholas's church was built in the 14th century on the site of an earlier, Anglo-Saxon church dedicated to St Michael. In 1984, the church was made redundant. It was subsequently re-acquired by the Church of England but no longer functions as a church. This wherigo will take you on a short tour of sites associated with the church's most famous parishioner. In order to complete this geocache, you will need to download the wherigo cartridge and run it using a wherigo enabled GPS or a smartphone with a compatible app. This is our first wherigo and feedback is welcomed. This cache should be accessible to wheelchair users although assistance may be required to retrieve the final container. Feedback on accessibility is welcome.
