I came out to replace my "Old Cuttoff" cache and instead found some new "No Trespassing" signs. I have created a diversion here, by making two new caches, one East and one West. The old pavement, which actually used to be a part of Lakeshore Blvd, continues on in a Westerly direction only to be cut off at the end by the Nice Lucerne Cutoff. What was a beautiful, quiet stroll, is now reserved for a few only. Hopefully, some day it will become part of an open Bike/pedestrian walkway.
