RWC 2015: USA Traditional Cache

Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Geocache Description:

This series has been put out there in the spirit of the Rugby World Cup of 2015 played in England.

USA


The Eagles, as the USA National Rugby Team is know, has played in 6 World Cup tournaments. Captained by Chris Wyles and with their star player in Samu Manoa, the Eagles were ranked 15 for the RWC 2015 tournament and found themselves in Pool B with opponents like South Africa, Japan (which they have played before and won twice), Scotland and Samoa. They ended bottom of the log in Pool B.

The United States very first rugby match was against Australia, where they lost 8-12 in 1912. The United States is the reigning Olympic champion in rugby, having won gold at the 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics
