Could it be a newspaper ? a zebra painted red? an embarrassed skunk? or perhaps even a sunburned penguin?
You'll just have to locate this one to find out!
The cache is located at the end of a quiet, disused road that appears to have previously connected the Ballysallagh Road to the Cootehall Road in years gone by. There are some nice views across the fields from a few spots along the road between the hedgerows. I spotted a couple of Jays when placing the cache so keep an ear and eye out!
Good footwear and long trousers are recommended as there are a few nettles along the way.
Access is from the Ballysallagh Road end - I've added a parking spot where there is room to park your car at the gate. It is easiest to pull over here when driving from the Newtownards to Bangor direction. If travelling from the Bangor direction it may be easier to use at the parking spot for "Farty Towels Travel Bug Hotel". Just take care when crossing this very busy road.
The cache is a regular sized, clip top container.
To access the cache, leave the main path through the gap in the trees on your right at the trailhead reference and go searching!
Tree cover makes GPS very jumpy here, so clue may be needed. I've also included a spoiler photo!
