The cache is located on a quiet, disused road that appears to have previously connected the Ballysallagh Road to the Cootehall Road in years gone by. There are some nice views across the fields from a few spots along the road between the hedgerows.
Good footwear and long trousers are recommended as there are a few nettles along the way.
Access is from the Ballysallagh Road end - I've added a parking spot where there is room to park your car at the gate. It is easiest to pull over here when driving from the Newtownards to Bangor direction. If travelling from the Bangor direction it may be easier to use at the parking spot for "Farty Towels Travel Bug Hotel". Just take care when crossing this very busy road.
The cache is small screw top container, with log book , pencil and room for a few small swaps.
GPS can be jumpy in this area due to tree coverage!
