Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small, clip lock box.

Filbert's walk is a raised path between attractive hedges, giving a route from Hemingford Grey to the historic town centre of St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

The path is popular with dog walkers & locals so some stealth may be required at times.

Until the 1960's, a row of cottages stood here. The cottages had easy access to the river Great Ouse. Many of the residents worked on the river or later the railway, others were basket makers.

The cottages suffered badly from flooding and when industry contracted, people moved and in 1947 some of the condemmed cottages were pulled down.
