This is a short, 3-stage multi-cache for those visiting Slayton. Stage one is at the posted coordinates. Upon arriving there, you will find yourself in Slayton's downtown area and in very close proximity to the old State Bank of Slayton. There is ample parking nearby, including parking spaces in the middle of Broadway Avenue! You will need to take notice of the four-digit number at the top of the State Bank of Slayton. Take the last 3 digits of that number and call those digits X.
Stage 2 will bring you to the Murray County Veterans' Memorial. This is a memorial to our veterans; please be respectful. At the memorial, you are looking for a unit patch on the shoulder of one of the statues. At the top of the patch is a number. We'll call that number Y.
Also at Stage 2, but across the street from the Memorial is a historic residence at the corner of Broadway Ave. and 28th Street. You should see a sign indicating the date on which that residence was built. The last 3 digits of that date are Z.
Stage 3 is where the final container is located. These are the coordinates: N 43 59.(X - 777) W 095 44.(Y + Z - 34)
