How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
A great chance for novice cachers to visit the beautiful Upper Beaconsfield, get together, have a chat and hopefully find the answer to some of their geocaching questions. All geocachers and potential geocachers welcome :)
If you've just started out geocaching, never attended an event, or just want to talk geocaching with someone who won't roll their eyes and ask you "what's the point?" come along and catch up with some other newbies.
Where: Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre
When: Saturday 7th November 2015
Time: 11am - 12pm
A small display of basic TOTT (tools of the trade), trackables, common cache hides and containers & a GPS to have a look at.
Help available for downloading and using the official Geocaching apps.
A handy hint sheet to take away.
Lots of chatting about geocaching of course.
A log book to sign and a small FTF (First to Find) prize.
All geocachers are very welcome, no matter your level of expertise, and hopefully some more experienced cachers will come along to offer some helpful advice, tips and tricks.
Make sure you bring your GPS or smartphone, you may need it during the event :)
There are lots of beautiful places to walk (and cache) so why not bring some lunch and spend the afternoon with us "in the hills"!
