A sculpture by Richard Walker, in 2007.
The name Werribee is an aboriginal name meaning "backbone" or "spine". It is thought that this name was given as the shape of the Werribee River valley and the landscape look like a backbone. But I quite like Richard Walker's take on the meaning, "highlighting the importance of working together to provide support" as a spine needs!
Lollipop Creek is a lovely trail (a little dry during the warmer months) that will take you all the way out to Wyndham Green estate. During the cooler months, the grass is green, the ducks and birds are around, and generally a walk the dogs love. During the warmer months please be careful of snakes.
