These 7 are placed between Crocketford and Balmaclellan and are nearly all placed on or near bridges (bridges not always visible, but identifiable on OS map sheet 320). The first 6 containers are 'alternative' or micro's hidden out of view, but the first clue will give you an indication for all of the first 6 caches. Bring a pen and tweezers. The last one is a bonus with a wee prize for completing the full series, sit and enjoy the view and the feeling of satisfaction and well done.
Please park in the lay-by and walk down to the cache. It is hidden close to the bridge and you do not have to leave the tarmac to find. It is in an 'alternative' container and you will have to search a bit to turn this one up !!! You will have to use hands as well as eyes to find.
Before heading for #2, you can drop onto Loch View 4: Lochenkit Loch, another of my caches. PLEASE MAKE SURE CONTAINER IS CLICKED SHUT, TO KEEP THE LOG DRY.
