Entrance to Arastradero Preserve? Mystery Cache

There are several entrances into Arastradero Preserve. This cache is hidden near one of them. There are no explicit coordinates hidden on this page or encoded in the text, and no certitude page to validate your solution. Instead, you will need a map to locate the possible cache locations, identify which one(s) is(are) the likely candidate(s), and go out and check them one by one. Before you get completely lost in the preserve, though, I have added a bit of information below. Enjoy!

1. Arastradero preserve is spread over 609 acres.
2. A map of the preserve can be found on the City of Palo Alto web site.
3. There is a bench within a 10th of a mile of the cache.
4. No remote control devices, including devices such as boats, planes, quadcopters are allowed.
5. You can drive within a few feet of the cache, but may or may not park legally there.
6. Helmets are required for all bicyclists.
7. A small visitor center was erected in 2006.
8. The cache is on the gate.
9. The highest point in the preserve is 775 ft above sea level.
10. Meadowlark, Juan Bautista de Anza, and Paseo de Roble are trails within Arastradero preserve.
11. At the time of publication there were 14 traditional and at least 1 puzzle cache hidden in Arastradero preserve.
12. The cache is olive green.
13. The Bay-to-Ridge trail connects Arastradero Preserve and Foothill Park at gate D.
14. The terrain rating is for the approach from the nearest legal parking.
15. Arastradero Lake is a twenty minute hike from the parking lot and is open all year to fishing.
