Geocache Description:

This Cache replaces the original Marnoo (North West) cahce, which disappeared, more than once.

Marnoo is a town in the Wimmera region of Victoria, Australia. At the 2006, Marnoo and the surrounding area had a population of 197.


Marnoo has a General Store, an antique/ collectables shop (Open weekends), a small primary school, a Memorial Hall, and a Pub, as well as various businesses which support the local farms.

There is also a small, free museum, which details the significance of Marnoo to Victoria, and various local individuals and groups.

There are public toilets and a play ground.

This cache is in north west of the town centre, and it was designed to be the easiest if the Marnoo caches. If you drive carefully, you could almost park on GZ, or you coud par on the side of the road and approach GZ on foot.

 

Hazards include:

-Snakes (warmer weather)

- Water ( after rain)

- Dehydration/ Sun burn, Marnoo is notoriously hot and dry
