This lovely track I discovered is called Vale Track ...and goes between Grassmere Road and Napuka Road in Henderson Valley. At the bottom part of the track you will discover the beautiful clear and pebbly Paramuka Stream ....( Paremuka Peak is nearby ! )
I strongly suggest you park at the Grassmere Rd entrance .....At the Napuka end of the track the road is very narrow and there are lots of houses, and parking and doing U turns are tricky....But by all means do the return walk of the track ...only takes less than 10 minutes !
This is a most peaceful area to take time out of your busy lives and sit for a minute !
Children would love playing in the shallow stream!
When you get down to the bottom of the steps before the stream turn right for the cache ...it is beneath a small overhang...Enjoy !
