Geocache Description:

This short, multi cache is located in Riverside Park.

At the posted coordinates you will find an information board about bees next to a pollinator garden. Nearby is another interesting informational board about pollinator gardens. The information on the bee board can be used to find the location of the cache which is here:

N 43 33.ABC

W 80 16.DEF

The answer to each of the questions below is the name of a type of bee. Use just the name, leave out the 'bee', convert the letters to numbers (A=1, B=2 and so on) and then reduce the total to one digit. For example, if one of your answers is the Honey Bee, you would just use the word 'honey'. H=8, O=15, N=14, E=5, Y=25. Add these together to get 67. 6+7 =13 and 1+3=4. So, the value you would use for that digit is '4'.

A - Which type of bee is a non-native, solitary species? (Reduce to 1 digit and add 1)

B- Which type of bee is able to relay information about their environment to other bees?

C- These hairless bees lay their eggs in the nests of other bees.

D- Which type of bee covers the inside of their nests with a waterproof coating? (Reduce to a single digit and then subtract 1)

E - This type of bee can be a brilliant metallic green colour and may lick your sweaty skin for minerals.

F - These solitary bees dig tunnels in the ground to make their nests.

The final cache may require the use of a special tool or teamwork in order to retrieve it.
