Darrick Rose
After an outstanding high-school basketball career which included two state championships, followed by one stellar year at the University of Memphis, Point Guard Darrick Rose was selected by the Chicago Bulls as the 1st overall pick in the 2008 draft. From 2008 to 2012, Rose took the NBA by storm, garnering Rookie of the Year in 2008-09, selected as a three-time All-Star in 2010, -11, and -12, and was the MVP in the 2010-11 season. However, since the 2012 Playoffs, Darrick has struggled with knee injuries, missing the entire 2012-2013 season and most of the following season. Since that time he has worked to regain his former stature in the league.
