Here, on this courtyard stood the last remaining part of a wall surrounding the Budapest ghetto demarcated on November 1944. Tens of thousands of Hungarian Jews - mostly children, women and older men - were crowed behind this wall. Thousands among them didn't suurvive to experience the liberation of the ghetto. This memorial wall was built in memory in 2010 replacing the original wall destroyed in 2006.
When you feel difficult to go inside or come out, maybe you will feel a little bit as in the Ghetto.
