Geocache Description:

The cache was placed by Czech expats living in the city of Eindhoven and is dedicated to all their Dutch friends and to anyone who wants to learn more about Tsjechië. This is the first of two Czech Heritage cache series. Make sure you don't miss the other one: coord.info/GC66DB1.

The cache lies near Chinese Christian Church in a quiet neighborhood of Het Witte Dorp. The church is interesting because one could almost never see anyone going in or out (= low muggle rate). Please be careful when opening the container.

The idea of this cache is to educate Dutch people about things they do know but don't know they come from the Czech Republic.

Czech Republic (Czechia) is a small country in the centre of Europe

Though it's small many famous inventions come from there... Here is a few of them:

Buurman en Buurman - The original Czech series were named Pat a Mat (after the 2 main characters). Pat a Mat means "Stalemate and Checkmate". The phrase "A je to" means "And it's done".

Bata shoes - Named after Czech entrepreneur Tomáš Baťa, founder of Bata shoes company. And yes, Batadorp - one of the Eindhoven's suburbs - is named after him.

Robot - the word robot was first spotted in Karel Čapek's drama RUR.

Contact lenses - an invention of two Czech chemists Otto Wichterle and Drahoslav Lím.

Semtex - an extremely powerful plastic explosive invented in Semtín chemical factory in Czech Republic.
