Perry is known by many nearby counties for its convenient food and fuel locations at the M-52 and I-69 interchange. The chain stores and eateries are quite busy, but few explore the unique locations that only Perry can offer. It is a small community with friendly mom-and-pop type businesses, beautifully paved sidewalks through town, community events, and much more. Next time you drive through, take the time to find some caches and explore the lesser known locations in Perry!
Perry Lakes is a developing neighborhood, which adds one or two new houses per year. The south side of the property is closed off to the public until they are ready to develop it, so please do not pass the many no trespassing signs on that side. This neighborhood is used by many for walking, biking, running, and watching wildlife.
You could park on the street and enjoy a walk around the low traffic road while looking for this cache or you can literally park on top of it. It is located along the south side of the neighborhood, which has no houses on it. You may still be seen by distant neighbors, so use stealth. You may want to bring a narrow grabbing tool if you do not have long fingers.
Be careful with this cache as he doesn't like to go for a swim. Please do not hunt for this cache at night. It may freak out the muggles nearby. Cars parked along this road during the day is common, but is not as common at night.
