Geocache Description:

Check out the Wellingtonia trees at Sprydon Beacon.  They were some of the first giant redwoods brought to this country 200 years ago and mark the highest point on the Killerton Estate.  A home for lots of bats too... See if you can see their dropping stains on the red bark!


You can park in the Sprydon Beacon car park close by, or easily stroll across to this one from the main car park.  Not really part of the loops of other caches but we wanted to share this pretty spot... We often enjoy a family picnic and a few games of rounders/frisbee here!
