AHinDL #17 - Stairway to Heaven Traditional Cache

A Hike in Deer Lakes (AHinDL) is just what the name implies.  This is a series ouf caches that I have placed pretty much following the Orange, White, and Purple hiking trails at Deer Lakes park.  All the caches will be within 100 feet of the main trails. There should be very little bushwhacking involved. Just watch your step as there are some pretty serious wash outs along a few of the trails, that are hidden in taller grasses.

After completing number 16, return down the hill and head up the other side and follow the disc golf course to the tee boxes for hole number 14.  Please allow the disc golfers to play through and not disturb them while you are walking the course.  Once you will see tee boxes for the 14th hole, you will quickly see the stairway to heaven.  Proceed to follow the stairway and begin your search once you reach the top of the stairs.  Take a look back over the 14th hole, as the view is amazing.  TYou will be looking for a regular sized lock and lock container.  Be sure to rehide the cache as you found it so others might be able to enjoy the cache as well.

Please note that Deer Lakes is only open from 8 AM to Dusk, year round. This means there is no night caching in the park. Please abide by this so there are no problems.
