AHinDL #18 - Hanging Out on the Hill Traditional Cache

A Hike in Deer Lakes (AHinDL) is just what the name implies.  This is a series ouf caches that I have placed pretty much following the Orange, White, and Purple hiking trails at Deer Lakes park.  All the caches will be within 100 feet of the main trails. There should be very little bushwhacking involved. Just watch your step as there are some pretty serious wash outs along a few of the trails, that are hidden in taller grasses.

After finding Stairway to Heaven, proceed up into the clearing and up the hill.  As you approach this one, you should see a small deer path off to the right.  There are prickers here so be aware of that.  Follow the deer path until you reach ground zero.  This is one of the higher points of your walk through Deer Lakes Park.  You will hear a bunch of traffic as you are getting closer to Creighton Russelton Road.  You search should be fairly easy for this pill bottle that is hanging on a tree.  You will need to provide your own pen or pencil for this cache as the container is too small of one.  Room only for the log sheet.  You should only need to remove the top and leave the container hang from the tree.  Please make sure the cover is on tight before leaving.

Please note that Deer Lakes is only open from 8 AM to Dusk, year round. This means there is no night caching in the park. Please abide by this so there are no problems.
