Some of my oldest memories were created very near here. When I was 6-8 years old my mom would bring me to this video store frequently. These trips were filled with excitement as I enthusiastically grabbed my favorite Sky Dancers and My Little Pony VHS cassettes. Even better than that, though, were the Mr. Surprise Bags. These bags came with a variety of toys, trinkets, and candy. The best part is that what came inside was always a surprise!! And I've always had a love for the unknown. These bags were the hallmark of this video store (at least to me). I'll never forget the yellow bag, little squiggles, and (best of all) the little purple bag guy with his face of ultimate joy printed on the front. Sometimes I really miss those days. It's sad for me to see this parking lot so deserted. I thought "you know what? This lot deserves a cache at the very least"... Thanks for the memories Mr. Surprise Bag! If you have any childhood memories of forgotten treasures, put them in your log. I'd be interested to hear about them. This may be a challenging hide for some, may be a walk up for others. Enjoy!
