This is the parking area for a nice paved trail with many caches on it. If you really like to hike there is a way all the way down to the desert. Eventually i will mark that trail with caches and you can make it a 13-15 mile hike if you like.
Please use stealth when hunting for this cache, the parking lot can fill up on weekends. Many of the locals claim an adventure pass is not required to park here. I have done my own test and purposely have not displayed my pass. No ticket...YET. It's up to the individual to make that decision I suppose.
