View from the Edge of Nevada Traditional Cache

There are some cool caches in this area, with really great views, but they all require a bit of rock scrambling.  This one is for the folks who don't want to wander too far from their vehicle.

 

Here is a fantastic spot for a picnic, with breathtaking views looking east across Nevada. If you're up for a bit more adventure, I highly recommend the other caches in the area, especially those at Dome 2.

Any high-clearance vehicle should be able to easily drive to within feet of the cache.  You can access Big Springs Road from either HWY 395 or 89, though the 89 route is easier. The road will take you by some stunning aspen groves, so this is the perfect place to explore early in the fall!
