After a short walk (if parking at the noted carpark) you will come to GZ and think surely not. Quite possibly not accessible at high tide but for the most part you shouldn't have too much of an issue. When placed it was 2 hours from high tide and as each wave rolled in it surrounded the rock but I managed to keep dry!!!
YOU NEED TO BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!!!!
Take your time and you shouldn't have too much trouble. My suggestion is put your gps away until you get to the top.
I used to climb up here as a kid and always wanted to hide a cache up here but if you have children it is up to your discression as a fall from up there could cause serious injuries.
You can also gain access from the Aramoana/sea side if the tide is low, you may also see the small cave/overhang if you explore enough.
