Geocache Description:

The PandaMania art exhibit took place in the summer of 2004 throughout DC.  After the exhibit ended, the panda statues were sold or donated.  There are only a few of these statues left in the area.  This series will bring you to the ones that I've found.

This particular panda is Where's Panda? by Alexander Overby.  Some of the pandas in the exhibition, such as this one, featured abstract geometric shapes. The design of this bear also included a study in color contrast, as the background for the multicolored stripes gradually changes from white at the panda's head to black at the feet. That said, other than the artist, no one really knows where the name of the panda comes from, as no one could find any sign of Waldo's presence.
