I picked Southwestway park because the Tri Tornadoes Triathlon team loves to train here... we hike, run and bike this park's fantastic trails... a chilly New Years Day Run is our favorite way to start the New Year!
The container is a Kids Tri For Kids water bottle with a red lid and some black duct tape to make it blend in a little better...
Are you a triathlete? Add one of your old finishers medals to the cache (after you put them all around your neck for a photo op =) ).. if the container gets too full I'll replace it with a larger one.
The Tornadoes also has a kids team so this cache is fun, not too hard to find and very family friendly.
Finally, my Coach has qualified to race at the Ironman World Championships in Kona in October... we are hoping that the little trackable will make it's way to a GeoCache in Kona so we can retrieve it and he can carry it for good luck during the race!
