Welcome to Belleville!

The building in the photo below was built after 1910 on the NE corner of Main and Spring streets. In 1937 the building was purchased by Seattle First National Bank and demolished 40 years later. There is a connection between this photo and the cache's location... can you figure it out?



Belleville factoid: In 1878 the Belleville Brass Band received a new shipment of instruments. A local paper mentioned that band members went a mile out of town to practice, so that they would not drive their neighbors mad. - from a book by Edith E. Erickson

Notes: You will need to bring your own writing implement to sign the log and an extraction tool for log removal.

6/25/20 Caretaker has added a flower box below the sign. The cache is not on the ground nor in the planter box. Please leave the flowers alone.
