This is a walk of aprox 5 miles around the quiet village of Twyford not far from Hereford and close to Aconbury.
The walk is along lanes which are usually very quiet, with some agricultural farmland, tracks and a small section of woodland.
There is a short section in the woods that is very muddy most of the year and of course the fields that have to be crossed can be muddy in winter especially but the farmer does keep the path through the crops clear.
There are few stopping places along the lanes as they are quite narrow, therefore not many can be done as cache and dashes. PLEASE DO NOT RESTRICT THE GATEWAYS WHICH ARE CONSTANTLY USED BY THE LOCAL FARMERS.
The walk is circular between cache number 2 and 17 so can be done either way round. I think backwards is best but that is your choice.
There are 19 caches plus a bonus various sizes and containers. Bonus numbers are in more than one container so if you forget one you have two chances.
Do not forget to collect the bonus clues.
The main car parking is near cache number TT 1 and alternative parking is given not far from Cache number TT 2 also a small car could get onto the verge near cache TT 9. Well done to Jeffery 949baker for first to find. .
