Geocache Description:

A chance to explore more of Orono's trails.  Can be a short walk or part of a longer trip.

Orono has fantastic trails for walking, skiing, and biking.  This cache lies a few steps off a new, but short, singletrack segment.  When creating this trail, we found oodles of old bottles, hence the cache name and the container.  This cache is all season.  The site is easily accessed on the trail system, but if driving, you can park on the edge of the nearby road for the short walk in to the woods. Near the road, there is a sign indicating no hunting or trapping, but the land is freely available for traipsing. (The duct tape covering the "No trespassing" has fallen off.) The construction is done there, but they haven't removed the sign. Best route to the cache from the street is up the access road, across the small drainage ditch, then onto the single track. Cache is not far from the track, so no need to get feet wet in pools.
