Geocache Description:


Halloween Mini Series

A mini series of Halloween themed caches located in the Ansonia Nature Center along the Mead School Trail. This loop will take you just over a mile on the yellow trail and back to the parking area or over to the Old Milan Trail. Sections of the trail are close to a residential area so please be mindful when searching for caches.

Caching is allowed on the Nature Center trails from dawn to dusk only.

All hides are no more than 100 feet from the trail. Be sure to check out some of the other nearby caches on the Self-Guided, Raptor Woods and Old Milan trails.

The Ansonia Rod & Gun club is nearby so don't be concerned if you hear gun shots. Hunting is NOT allowed in the Nature Center.Hunting is, however, allowed in the Naugatuck State Forest - Ansonia Reservoir if you choose to take the Raptor Woods trail over there. Be safe and have fun!!!
