Lizards
This series of geocaches is located in the Ansonia Nature Center along the Self-Guided Trail. This loop will take you from the playground to the pavilion near the start of the Raptor Woods Trail. The trail is an easy terrain with a boardwalk through the wet areas.
Caching is allowed on the Nature Center trails from dawn to dusk only.
Be sure to check out some of the other nearby caches on the Raptor Woods, Old Milan trails and Mead School Trail.
The Ansonia Rod & Gun club is nearby so don't be concerned if you hear gun shots. Hunting is NOT allowed in the Nature Center.Hunting is, however, allowed in the Naugatuck State Forest - Ansonia Reservoir if you choose to take the Raptor Woods trail over there. Be safe and have fun!!!
