On the Line!
This series of geocaches is located in the Ansonia Nature Center just off the Raptor Woods Trail. This loop will take you from the Ball Fields to the Red Wing Pond. This trail has some rocky ledges that overlook the wet and dry deciduous forest.
Caching is allowed on the Nature Center trails from dawn to dusk only.
Be sure to check out some of the other nearby caches on the Self-Guided, Old Milan trails and Mead School Trail.
The Ansonia Rod & Gun club is nearby so don't be concerned if you hear gun shots. Hunting is NOT allowed in the Nature Center.Hunting is, however, allowed in the Naugatuck State Forest - Ansonia Reservoir if you choose to take the Raptor Woods trail over there. Be safe and have fun!!!
