I have traveled all 2902 miles of this interstate from New Jersey to California. I have many fond memories on this road. One of the most memorable trips was when I drove with my daughter to California. She was continuing her college education on the west coast. We enjoyed each other's company the entire trip and were fortunate to eat the "best" barbecue in North Platte and the "best" mexican in Salt Lake City. Who would have guessed. We were truly lucky!
